As a costume, hand decorated leotards etc can be created to suit your theme. These are hand-washable in paint and/or glittersglitters sparkle amazingly under stage lights).
Customised dresses etc can be painted or glittered. Why not recycle a favourite old plain silk dress with new patterns and colours? Some marks can be disguised by the artwork.
