A trained artist & science teacher, Cat began face-painting whilst teaching in a Zoo.

She started her business in 2006, and now freelances world-wide.

Cat also illustrates, glitters leotards and clothing, makes wings & jewellery, and teaches crafts and field studies.

Clients include:

Air shows, magazines, music festivals, zoos, car dealers, clubs, councils, dance groups, P.R. Agencies, Wildlife Trusts, weddings, private balls & parties, for 10 to 100,000 people.

Credits include:

Lead artist at the Hong Kong Rugby 7’s – since 2006, Rugby’s Premiere event. Trains staff decorating faces of 40,000+ fans at the tournaments. Official body painter.

Teaches at UK face & body conventions, competitions, jams, in schools etc. (Also gives private lessons.)

Writes, runs help page & paints for international publications: Face Paint UK, the FACE Painting Association magazine, Brushstrokes E-zine, and Illusion Magazine.

Numerous wins/ placings in Snazaroo online Competitions, etc.

2016

Presented with Brian Wolfe Memorial Award  at Paintopia 2016, voted on internationally, for contributions to the industry.

Part of the award-winning TRO team for British Airways secret arena at the Isle Of Wight Festival

Asked to demo EBA stencils, VIBE liquid paints and Skin Illsutrator prodcuts for Mouldlife at IMATS London.

Continued filming with a Channel 4 production (will be able to talk about it when it is aired!)

Only UK Artist invited by FIP to demo bodyart for the 2 day Elfia Event in Holland in front of 1000s.

Teaching in more colleges at several levels for Paintopia, mainly Media Makeup courses.

Several classes & demos for Professional Makeup Academy Events.

  1. I want to paint a leotard for my daughter but haven’t got a clue what paint I need. What do you recommend.

    1. Hi I’m afraid I have never painted leotards, I glitter them, so I don’t know. I do a lot of dresses so use silk paints for thos or fabric paints for hoodies etc, but I don’t know if they would be flexible enough for leotards.
