Welsh Face Body Painting Festival: Face and Glitter Tattoo Comps

Ongoing week at the Welsh Festival, Aug 2010!

Wednesday I entered the face painting comp, last-minute, when Seb the photography assistant agreed to be my model, and decided randomly to do a wildly coloured chameleon, seeing as the theme was ‘Wild Things’. It didn’t quite work for me,  but was interesting.

The Freehand Glitter Tattoo Comp was excitingly open to any subject, anywhere above the waist, and could take several hours.

I did a lizardy thing in about 90 mins to match (sort of!) Seb’s face. It looks amazing in real life, check out my youtube to see the sparkle.

I was lucky enough to come 2nd in the Face comp, sponsored by the amazing Bibi of www.facepaint-uk.com, which was fab! So cheers for the plate, booze and facepaint voucher, Bibi – and the massive hug!

I was stunned to win the glitter body tattoo comp, as there were some really tough designs to beat. This was sponsored by Paul of Facade Body Art who presented me with a whopping metal makeup box containing some of his sparkly goodies:)
